Why I Wrote It
I wrote a short version of this story for an anthology I was part of and those who read it really enjoyed it. I also felt there was a lot more to be discovered in this world, so I expanded the story into a short book. It follows Cara, the librarian from my witchy mystery series, as she travels through a portal to the fae realm. It ended up being a cross between The Labyrinth and The Neverending Story but with a romance subplot. I really enjoyed writing this and I hope you like it too.
